"Table for two please... Right this way sir, please follow me". As we sat down on the terrace we stared at the menu which offers a wide variety of Italian classics and 'comfort-food'. We order the the truffle pizza wood oven and a nice stew that comes in a typical French little pot because once you've seen and smelled your neighbors’ plate passing by you won't feel any need to look at the rest of the menu.

Now that our eyes are of the menu we get the chance to explore the surroundings a bit more. Besides the fact that the Chiwawa next to us is wearing Chanel like its walking a red carpet we realized we have a perfect view from the terrace on this beautiful winter scenery. Temperature a bit cold for eating outside but as long as you stay drink some wine and look at your plate...life is good here at Mille Sabords! Only thing here we could wish for was a good glass of red wine and coincidence or not... Mille Sabords has an excellent wine menu leaving you with nothing more to wish for other that French top chateaux and Italian reds and whites of outstanding quality. We had a smooth yet robust Saint-Emilion to go with it.

The inside is an outagrious mixture of Marine artefacts, the place looks very cosy and is not too big. Mille Sabords is located next to Cap Horn in Courchevel right above the airport

Mille Sabords is an outstanding place for those who can enjoy the finer things in life yet it's not too fancy. We'll be back!
