Zaï is for those who enjoy the finer things in life. Over the years Zaï has proven that they have found the perfect balance between design, comfort and performance and naturally, with the launch of their latest model, AlpineBooker is curious to find out if they could maintain these high standards.
By the looks of the new ‘Rebel’ we must say Zaï did a great job again and combined with the following specs it’s a ski that rises expectations:
Sidecut for all models: 121-71-106 mm Radius: 151 cm = 10 m 158 cm = 11 m 164 cm = 13 m 170 cm = 14 m 176 cm = 16 m
If you can ’read’ the specs you will be able to understand that we are talking about a ski with average dimensions but never judge a book by its cover because it is not without reason that Zaï chose ‘Rebel’ to name their latest family member. The rebel seems to be quite the aggressive beast on- and off- the slopes and as we know Zaï, we may expect Swiss craftsmanship and an entirely handmade product. created on the mountains for the mountains as they like to say. Another cool thing about the rebel is the price as the rebel is the most affordable Zaï ski on the market so far.
As we test the things that matter from a professional point of view we will soon be able to tell you more about our experience on the Zai rebel. Expect our full report here on AlpineBooker soon.
