Le Massif is a brand new Italian-design-escape in Courmayeur, close to the Via Roma shopping area and with a stunning Mont-Blanc backdrop. Staying at Le Massif is staying in a world of distinguished luxury and service.
The hotel opened its door very recently (December 2018) and the owners already knew how to create such a spectacular place as they have a long record in delivering the highest service in luxury hotels. Everything has been thought through and this really shows in the rooms and suites which are all equipped with the highest standards in hotel-room technology. There are 5 roomtypes to choose from. 2 room categories and 3 suite categories. All rooms are a great reflection of Italian taste for design and their spot-on choice of fabrics and materials.
The dining options are endless at Le Massif as there are three restaurants to choose from. La Loge the detached ski lodge of Le Massif that serves classic, regional dishes with a modern twist to it. This restaurant is an elegant and modern take on an alpine chalet (including the cosy fireplace). Lovers of flame-grilled steaks should definitely try the Cervo Rosso Steakhouse (open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch). If you are looking for a selection of classic, lighter dishes and the choice of a la carte dining? Then you should try the Chétif Restaurant that also serves a nutritious and extended breakfast in the morning.
At Le Massif they really understood that the Spa should be as luxurious as the hotels itself so no concessions were made when creating a luscious spa with all facilities you could wish for. Apart from the 'regular' treatments the spa offers special treatments like one that is based on the mystery of the mountains, the surrounding majestic peaks and the hushed secrets in the woods so they say. You will experience a total detachment from time. Further you will find an extended gym, indoor/outdoor pool, a steam-room, aromatic sauna's and outdoor hot-tub and much more!
Le Massif is a family friendly hotel which does not mean you will find kids running around the place the whole time. Le Massif has created a very cool kids club which offers a special kids program that allows the parents to relax a bit and unwind from their daily routine while the kids have the time of their life. They are taken care of by the best animators and each day is filled with a changing schedule of exciting activities, including cooking classes, games and competitions.
Courmayeur does not offer ski-in/ski-out facilities but Le Massif has created the next best thing which is La Loge. This chalet style hideout is not only a great place for lunch, culinary refinement and after ski drinks with friends but also a ski-lodge that belongs to the hotel, located up on the slope. Once you are up, the ski butler takes care of you by assisting you with your boots, ski's and more. At the end of the day you can store all your gear at La Loge, it's that easy.

Courmayeur is popular amongst many as the town offers great shopping, a lively bar- and restaurant-scene and from here you can easily plan a lot of day trips/excursions. Not feeling like skiing today? Visit the ancient Roman town of Aosta or drive down to Turin/Torino for a fun day in the city. We also recommend a trip to Alba, the home of truffles and to visit some Barolo vineyards for a unique wine experience and to taste one of Italy's best reds.
Courmayeur is easy to reach by plane as you can fly to the small airport of Aosta (really close but only for private flights and some small airlines with limited destinations). The most used airport is Turin at one and a half hours by road transfer and Milan Malpensa which is a little under two hours by road transfer.
