Gstaad has an extremely high Michelin Star restaurant density which allows you to experience a great new restaurant every night during your stay but don't forget to try the excellent culinary experiences at the Ermitage! Besides the Ermitage full board restaurant there is The ERMITAGE Stube Restaurant which offers a modern Swiss cuisine with Italian influences from Liguria featuring only the finest fresh seafood. For a more traditional and local food experience we recommend to try Fondue Spycher, the fondue restaurant of the Ermitage that serves cheese fondue (some even made with local cheeses) but also 'Fondue Chinoise' (broth-based meat fondue) for those in search of a lighter dinner. Have your fondue be accompanied by great local wines!
The hotel is rather large but has only three floors, all rooms and suites are well spread out over the hotel-plot but still they have managed to keep the walking distances short without giving in on your room or suite's floorspace.
The Ermitage is a true in- and outdoor paradise no matter what season you are staying. During wintertime you can ski and enjoy the indoor facilities like the extensive wellness area and during sping, summer and fall you can play golf at the local Gstaad Golf course which is one Europe's top golfcourses, go bike riding, hiking, wakeboarding and attend numerous, (internationally known) cultural and sports events (E.g.: J.Safra Sarasin Swiss Open, part of the ATP tour).

Ermitage Gstaad is a family friendly hotel. Children age 15 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding (children over this age will be considered an adult). Children are free of charge in extra bed in room with 2 adults only including breakfast. Halfboard is available at chf 35.00 per night. An extra bed is only possible only in junior suite so not in standard or superior or single rooms.
